- Deadlines. These are important, especially if you are advising a returning student. We want to ensure we have enough time to evaluate the student’s file, so adherence to deadlines is pretty important for successful entrance. Deadlines for admittance can be found at www.admissions.utah.edu.
- Peak times. The peak time in our office is November 1 through February 1. Because of the volume we have, it may take a few more days to get back with a student. Please know, we will get to them as soon as possible. This will be most apparent with transfer students who are attending Spring semester. Transfer work is being posted as fast as possible, and we will get to it, but not as quickly as we do in July when we are slower.
- Ask us questions. We are happy to help with the nuances of admissions. Advisors can reach out to our welcome center phone staff, and they will transfer you to the appropriate area. If that doesn’t work, please contact me directly!!
