DESIGN - SCHOOL OF MUSIC

School of Music

1) All Ensembles welcome participation by ALL University students, staff, and faculty.  Some require a placement audition.  Some include a scholarship or stipend for participation, even for non-majors. Find information at the School of Music.

2) The Prep Division offers lessons at many different levels to adults and children on strings, organ, guitar, piano, and children's choir.

3) The School of Music office maintains a list of private teachers who can help students prepare for auditions and provide instruction at all levels on most orchestral and band instruments, piano, and voice.

3) The Arts Pass (a student's U Card) serves as a free ticket to operas, concerts, and musical events in the School of Music. These events are presented by University ensembles, faculty, and students. Scholarship Galas and outside events may require an additional charge.

4) The School of Music now has a minor in Music Technology.

5) The School of Music has  performing groups and individuals that are available for hire.
