What is UAAC?

UAAC is the University Academic Advising Committee for the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. The Committee is open to all Academic Advisors on campus. The mission statement for academic advising is:
 "Undergraduate academic advising at the University of Utah is a cross-campus, educational process that empowers students to define and attain their academic goals. Advising professionals utilize various forms of communication in safe environments culminating in students understanding the value of higher education and their roles as a citizens within local and global communities."
